About Collibra Connect
Collibra Connect is an integration platform that enables integrations between Collibra Data Governance Center (Collibra DGC) and other third-party products, such as Informatica, Salesforce.com and JIRA.
You can use Collibra Connect to:
- leverage your existing infrastructure by reading metadata from your current systems.
- automate compliance.
- provision changes resulting from an issue resolution or data modification.
- implement active data governance.
What is Collibra Connect?
It consist of a combination of tools and applications:

A gateway application | The Collibra gateway is an application that provides a single entry point for all integration processes, an authentication mechanism and an integration with Collibra DGC workflow processes. |
The Collibra DGC Connector | The Connector is an extension to the Mule runtime that you can use when building a Mule application to establish a direct connection to the Collibra Data Governance Center. It encapsulates the REST API calls to Collibra DGC to provide session management support and streamline operations. |
Integration templates
Integration templates are software applications that enable the integration between Collibra Data Governance Center and other systems.
Collibra has several integration templates to connect your external system with Collibra DGC, available on the Collibra Marketplace.
Third-party tools
To develop and enhance integrations, you can download Anypoint Studio, which is an Eclipse-based development environment for developing and enhancing existing integrations.
Collibra Connect includes the Mule ESB Standalone server, which is the server application where the integration applications are deployed and run after they are developed in Anypoint Studio.
