What to expect from the new Workflow Designer experience
Starting with the 2025.06 production release, the Workflow Designer will be updated to a new version, which includes several enhancements.
New: workspaces for organization
The new Workflow Designer version enables enhanced organization of workflow apps through workspaces. If various departments in your organization develop their own workflows, implementing workspaces can significantly improve the organization of your workflow applications by:
- Creating workspaces tailored to your needs.
- Defining a default workspace.
- Filtering and sorting to find the appropriate workspace on the workspaces page.
- Transfering workflow apps between different workspaces.
During the upgrade all your existing apps, processes, and forms are automatically placed in a generated default workspace.
New: app revisions
Introducing app revisions into your development process can significantly boost the effectiveness of your workflow developers. By creating app revisions, you can revert to a previous configuration if your latest development encounters unexpected issues. This feature not only enhances stability but also provides peace of mind during the development phase.
Changed: refreshed modern look and feel
The Workflow Designer has been revamped with a contemporary look and feel, while retaining all the configuration options that were previously available to you.

Unchanged: backward compatibility with your platform
Even if your Collibra platform is not running the latest version, you can still deploy new or updated workflows from your Workflow Designer to your existing Collibra environment.
